On this day trip, we will discover Bamber. A declared UNESCO world heritage site since 1993 located in Upper Franconia, an approximately 1-hour drive from Nuremberg.
More than 2,400 UNESCO listed buildings, winding lanes, and an abundance of medieval churches make this city a real Franconian jewel.
This tour will take you to all of the most interesting, historical sites within the historic city center.
Some of the sites you will see are the Residence Geyerswörth, the Old City Hall, the Bamberg Cathedral, the Old Royal Residence, the New Residence, Michaelsberg Abbey, and a visit to Altenburg Castle. For lunch, you can have the opportunity to savor the Bamberger Onion and wash it down with some world-famous smoke beer.
