Bristol boasts many fine old character pubs and all have their own fascinating stories to tell. The tour makes links with literature like Treasure Island, Robinson Crusoe, and global events such as voyages of discovery and slavery.
If you fancy a tipple there will be plenty of opportunity to go where the locals go, taste beers brewed locally (known in the UK as ‘real ales’) and sample the unique atmosphere of an English pub (or maybe more!). Many of them also provide excellent food.
