For music lovers around the world, Vienna is known as the capital of classical music. From early times music was essential to people and during the Habsburgs Vienna was one of the most attractive places to be. The passion for music and art, in general, attracted famous composers and musicians to take residence in the city. One of them was Ludwig van Beethoven.
On this tour, we will discover some of the places where Beethoven composed parts of his masterpieces and where he looked for help for his health issues. We will also explore the outskirts of Vienna, an old residential area where the composer spent several months a year. After a short walk passing by another Beethoven Monument, we will visit the neat Beethovenhaus, where he wrote his famous Heiligenstädter Testament. After the museum tour, we will continue to one of the typical wine taverns nearby and have a glass of the precious grape juice.
