On this full day shore excursion, we will travel north to the historic and beautiful town of Dornoch to visit the cathedral and the Jail.
We continue north spotting some seals en-route and will make it in time to Dunrobin Castle at Golspie for the falconry display in the grounds.
We will then visit the magnificent castle itself which is reminiscent of a French château.
From Dunrobin we continue to a whisky tasting at the famous Glenmorangie Distillery which stands near the shores of the Dornoch Firth at Tain.
After leaving the distillery we conclude the tour by taking a scenic drive over the mountains to “Millionaires’ View” for a spectacular view of the Dornoch Firth, returning to your cruise ship at Invergordon via flower-filled Alness.
