This morning you’ll visit three amazing places…. Erice, Segesta, and Trapani. First, you’ll experience the medieval town of Erice, perched on a hilltop, and famous for its numerous churches. We will walk through the alley streets and the squares, bordered by churches and palaces that, in open spaces, reveal majestic landscapes.
Then we will head to Segesta to one of the most well preserved archeological sites in Sicily: one of the major cities of the Elymians and one of the three indigenous peoples of Sicily.
Lastly, we’ll discover Trapani, and walking through the old town you will see the signs of the passage of various civilizations over the centuries. Founded by Elymians, it’s still an important fishing port and the main gateway to the nearby Egadi Islands. See the famous Salt Pans of Trapani and have the possibility to taste the famous pink salt.
