Frankfurt Jewish Heritage Tour
Frankfurt was shaped by the contribution of the German Jews to culture, science, politics and business.
The Historical Museum and the new Jewish Museum devote themselves to the history of the Jewish communities in Frankfurt and Germany, including the beginnings of the Jewish settlement in the 12th century, and their struggle for social integration and the new beginnings of Jewish communities after 1945.
Frankfurt “Judengasse” Museum / Jewish Lane reopened with archeological excavations from 1462 and a revamped new museum can be explored. The old cemetery from 1270 can also be visited and the new Jewish memorial will be waiting for your discovery.
