Starting at the cruise ship port, we will walk through the most beautiful spots to discover Genova highlights. Taking a stroll on Via Garibaldi, the heart of the Unesco site with the richness of its “Palazzi”, their frescoes and gilded decorations, Piazza De Ferrari, elegant architecture of the 20th C.; Columbus’s house (Yes! He was born here. . . ); the imposing Palazzo Ducale, and the stories of the Ancient Republic; the Cathedral and its treasures, Palazzo San Giorgio, the story and Glory of the ancient Mariner Republic, creating the bases of our modern economy.
A little stroll between the old typical alleyways will make you feel the charm of the largest medieval city center of Europe. Upon request a “cappuccino” stop or local food & wine taste can be arranged, not to leave the place without knowing the famous Focaccia or Pesto sauce, or photo stop in Castelletto, for a stunning view over the Town by lift.
