This full-day tour will take you towards one of the most famous Loch in the World, passing through Mackenzie/Fraser land before climbing to over 1000ft above Loch Ness, where the Mountain views are stunning and onto our first stop of the day, Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle.
From there, the journey starts north towards Dunrobin Castle, which is the historic home of the Earls and Dukes of Sutherland. The foundation stone dates from around 1275. You can take a self-guided tour through the staterooms on the first floor before making your way through the smaller rooms in the older parts of the castle.
Once outside, you will have uninterrupted 180-degree views of stunning landscapes, and after wandering through the beautiful gardens, you will have the Falconry Display. The professional resident Falconer demonstrates and explains the different hunting methods used by owls, hawks and falcons in a series of fascinating aerobatic displays. Every show creates superb photographic opportunities.
From here its a wee drive back to your ship.
