During this guided visit to Lousã, just 30 minutes away from Coimbra, you will be able to experience a place out of the tourist track!
In the middle of the mountain you will find the charming Schist Villages of Candal and Talasnal, the Medieval Castle of Lousã, Louçainha Beach and its Waterfalls and the Lady of Mercy Sanctuary where you will have an amazing view to the mountain while listening to the sounds of nature: the water falling, the birds, the wind in the trees! And if you’re brave enough, bring your swimsuit and a change of clothes and the guide will give you some free time to dive in the cold water of Louçainha River Beach before going back!
The tour will start by visiting Lousã Village and then ride up the mountain to the Castle of Lousã, Louçainha Beach and it’s Waterfalls and the Lady of Mercy Sanctuary! After a walk there, we can stop for lunch in a local restaurant, or, if you want, we could organize a picnic. In the afternoon you will visit the Schist Village of Candal and the famous Schist Village of Talasnal (considered one of the most beautiful in the country).
