Manchester in a Day
This is the gold standard of Manchester Touring.
An eight hour experience to immerse you in the Original Modern City. You will begin with a trip to The Quays, exploring the history of the amazing Ship Canal and checking out its millennial attractions – The Lowry Arts Centre and the striking Daniel Libeskind-designed Imperial War Museum North.
Then you will be taken in cotton making demonstrations at the Museum of Science and Industry where the textile technology that made Manchester famous is still used to this day.
Included in the price is lunch at a Manchester restaurant staple whose menu is inspired by British Victorian classics.
Then you will be taken to see the Town Hall and Central Library, The Royal Exchange, John Rylands Library, and the Roman Fort of Castlefield – where Manchester began.
