Our first stop of the day will be Civita Di Bagnoregio, they call it the dead city where only 16 citizens live year round. The erosion makes the hillside location something unreal. The city is connected with the region from one long bridge that is the only working bridge for entering the city. Driving through the Umbrian hills we will arrive in the back gate of another legend town of Umbria called Orvieto. This town is renowned for it’s medieval Duomo from the 10th century. It’s here where we will experience the true Umbrian wines at Enoteca Al Duomo. You’ll enjoy the famous fresh truffle pasta and the Orvieto classico wines. After lunch we will visit the Duomo with its breathtaking Last Judgment of Luca Signorelli XVI century. You will have time for shopping and some delicious gelato before heading back to Rome.
