Enjoy a wine tour to Provence, the first and oldest wine region of France with a tradition of 2600 years! Less than one hour away from Cannes the “Green Provence” is also known as “the wine country”.
This is the area you will enjoy with a visit of two exceptional wineries followed each time by a wine tasting (included). My pleasure will be to include the discovery of the goat cheese of Provence.
The first visit will be at the Chateau d’Esclans: famous all around the world for the Whispering Angel and the Garrus (the most expensive rosé wine in the world), it’s a gorgeous estate located in the heart of Provence, at the entrance of the splendid Pennafort canyon. The wines are remarkable. The second wine tasting experience will take place at the Font de Broc: born from the imagination of a very successful entrepreneur, this breathtaking estate is very known for the most beautiful wine cave of Provence, a reproduction of a Cistercian cave, absolutely exceptional. The splendid wines are served in the best restaurants in France. We can arrange an optional visit of a third winery (which is not included): château Sainte-Roseline.
Then, you will discover the picturesque medieval site of Le Parage, maybe the most beautiful one of the region. There you will visit the incredible Sainte-Roseline chapel, located in the middle of an estate where you will see the mummy of the XIVth century Saint.
The drives through the vineyards are so picturesque that you will probably want to come back. For lunch, it’s recommended a gastronomic provencal restaurant in the dramatic Pennafort canyon, or in the medieval village of Les Arcs.
