This is the perfect day trip if it’s the first time you visit Croatia’s gorgeous Dalmatian coast. On this tour, we will visit two of the most intriguing UNESCO World Heritage sites on the planet: Diocletian’s Palace in Split and magical Trogir.

Just 45 minutes up the coast we will discover Trogir, a remarkably preserved ensemble of the astonishing 13th-18th century architecture, crowned by a stupendous Cathedral (13thC) that like Chartres in France.
Being so small, walking here is easy and efficient and we will find well off the beaten track discoveries, truly sublime architecture and design, with lots of time in its stunning Cathedral that is unlike any on the planet. 

We will drive back to Split for a marvelous cooked to order peak lunch with wine or other beverage, and grilled veggies. Specially prepared just for you, with either octopus or chicken/veal.

The historic core of Split is marvelously alive, and we’ll tell you an amazing story of how the walled “retirement” fortress of an Emperor became the city of Split, which has more than 1, 000 people still living inside its massive 1,700-year-old Roman walls.
We’ll walk around town to visit the Palace, take a tour inside the Emperor’s mausoleum, the oldest cathedral in the world still in daily use that was never moved and was always a cathedral.
