Stockholm in a Day
Departing from the port or your hotel in the city, we will start this Stockholm tour in the morning with the amazing City Hall, known locally as Stadshuset and renowned for its architecture, murals and the site of the Nobel Prize Banquets. Then we will stroll in fabulous medieval Old Town along the cobblestone streets and we will take the ferry to the island of Djurgården where we will visit Skansen, the oldest open-air museum in the world, founded in 1891. Over the years about 160 historical buildings have been moved here from nearly every part of Sweden.
We can also continue to the zoological park and get acquainted with some of the Nordic animals. Our last stop will be at Vasa Museum to admire the amazing warship that sank on her maiden voyage in 1628!
