This gastronomy tour is your chance to taste the unique and different flavors of Bordeaux, and discover the regional culinary specialties, visit open-air food markets and boutique food shops while interacting with the locals. Of course along the way we will see many of Bordeaux’s historical monuments.
The tour will be customized according to your tastes. Do you want chocolate? We know the best chocolate shops in the city. Cheese you say? Well, get ready for a dairy induced buzz like you have never experienced. Of course, no Bordeaux trip would be complete without wine so I will take you to a wine shop where you will taste and/or buy some lovely Bordeaux wine.
While the Parisian fare is known to be delicate and fancy, Bordeaux cuisine is rich and hearty. Duck confit, foie gras, and steak fries are the local specialties. The city is close to the shore so seafood is prominent as well.
