Even though Brussels is a small city, it has more than 1000 years of history and an international mix of 186 nationalities, with plenty of areas waiting to be discovered. Whether it be checking out the trendy cultural scene of St.Gilles or the area of Ixelles, it offers a lot more beyond just the Grand Palace.
We will start our tour in the upper part of the city and walk through the Sablon (antique area) to the Marolles (flea market and brocante). In this area, we can stop to have a nice lunch. Afterward, we will walk further towards the city center for the main sights and end in the lively areas of Saint-Gery and the Fishmarket.
