North Wales Region Full-Day Tour

The North Wales region is steeped in history and known as the Kingdom of Gwynedd for a Millenium. The mountainous stronghold of Snowdonia formed the nucleus of that realm and would become the last redoubt of independent Medieval Wales only overcome in 1283.
On this tour, you will learn about the Welsh language, welsh crafts like love-spoons and visit Caernarfon Castle, one of a ring of Castles constructed in the 1200s by “Longshanks” Edward, the First know as the “Hammerer of the Scots”.
You will visit a quirky Victorian railway station with the longest name in the world!
You will learn about the Welsh slate industry and other industries such as copper, bronze and the mining and visit traditional Welsh towns.
The highlight of the day will be a heritage steam train ride through breathtaking countryside which it is not possible to reach by car.
